The WomenCorporateDirectors Third Annual Global Institute was held earlier this week in New York and revealed its roadmap for decision-makers on "Improving Diverse Representation in the Boardroom" . The 14 point plan introduced provides concrete steps companies can take to get more women in corporate boardrooms.
Jeanette Horan, CIO of IBM, was one of the many outstanding panelists speaking to the impressive women who came from across the country and around the world to attend the WomenCorproateDirectors Initiative. Jeanette was part of the technology panel which also included Clara Shih, CEO of Hearsay Social, Andrea Drew of the Naval War College, and experienced entrepreneur Myla Crespo-Villanueva. Jeanette explained why employees must be a part of any company solution for better security.
