The Slide Continues for Women in Business getting on Boards

The downward slide in board appointments continues as only eighteen women were appointed to Corporate Boards of Directors in November08 as reported on NewsonWomen.com, higher than October but lower than the 23 women appointed in November07. Some of the major corporations bucking this trend and appointing women to Boards included Ann Taylor, CA, Timex, Alcoa, LSI, Red Hat, and Electronic Arts.
