Elizabeth Blackburn and Carol Greider Share 2009 Nobel Prize in Medicine

Dr. Elizabeth Blackburn (pictured left) and Dr. Carol Greider are to be awarded the 2009 Nobel Prize in medicine with Jack Szostack for the discovery of "how chromosomes are protected by telomeres and the enzyme telomares".
