Dr. Mary Ann Rankin Made President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Math and Science Initiative

The National Math and Science Initiative (NMSI) appointed Dr. Mary Ann Rankin President and Chief Executive Officer. Mary Ann, who holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from Louisiana State University and a doctorate in physiology and behavior from the University of Iowa, had been Dean of the College of Natural Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin.
