President Barack Obama intends to nominate Dot Harris to be Director of the Office of Minority Economic Impact, Department of Energy. Dot, who holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Carolina and an M.S. in Technology Management from Southern Polytechnic State University, is President and CEO of Jabo Industries, LLC. Before that, Dot had been an executive at General Electric Company and held a number of leadership positions in GE’s Energy and Industrial Systems businesses, including Global Marketing Leader for GE’s Industrial Services business.
