Women at Google gathered to talk tech and women and Rachel King of ZDNet wrote about what they said. Rachel reports that Susan Wojcicki (pictured), senior vice president of Google’s advertising unit, said there was not any one thing prepared her for her rise in the company, just continually building her skills for what was needed in her job. Angela Lai, Google’s vice president of payments, agreed that a career in this field is a “lifetime of learning". Megan Smith, Google’s vice president of new business development, pondered why more women weren't in tech.
