Dr. Cheryl Healton was recently named Director Designate of the NYU Global Institute of Public Health and Dean of Global Public Health. Cheryl, who holds a doctorate from Columbia University's School of Public Health and a master's degree in Public Administration at New York University for Health Policy and Planning, had been President and CEO of the public health nonprofit The Legacy Foundation where her foucs was reducing the deadly toll of tobacco on Americans, and before that she was at Columbia University's Joseph L.
