Leila Janah, raised $7.5 million in a philanthropic funding round led by The MasterCard Foundation. Samasource connects women and youth living in poverty to work opportunities. Their proprietary technology platform called the SamaHub breaks down digital work from large companies into small tasks that can be completed with only basic English skills and a few weeks of training at the Samasource partner centers.
